2000 $1 Olymphilex C & S Mintmark Pair

The 2000 $1 Olymphilex C & S Mintmark Pair was released by the Royal Australian Mint as a tribute to the Olymphilex exhibition held in both Sydney & Canberra whilst the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games were taking place. For the first time the coins have edge lettering with the word Sydney and Canberra displayed on them, signifying where the coins were struck.
