Shipping & Insurance – All purchases are fully insured whilst in transit until you sign for the parcel at your end. There are no extra costs associated with transit insurance, it’s all part of the service. A tracking number will be provided to enable you to track your parcel every step of the way.
Two clear ways to sell your coins & banknotes
Outright Purchase
Subject to sighting, we will put a value on what you have and offer you a GST inclusive buy price on the spot. Monies are generally exchanged on receipt of goods. However, please be aware that any preliminary valuation is subject to change where applicable upon final inspection of your items.
Selling on Consignment
We will endeavour to sell your coins or banknotes over an agreed period of time at a mutually agreed retail price. Our commissions will be deducted from the final sale price of each individual item or group of items. Contact Us or call 0407 700 907 for more information on our commission structure.
Preliminary Valuations
All valuations carried out by Melbourne Coin Shop are FREE of charge and we will do our utmost to provide you with a preliminary valuation at the initial contact stage. However, please be aware that any preliminary valuation is subject to change where applicable upon final inspection of your items. You can provide details of all items for sale by filling out our Valuation Form.
What we will need from you
If you do choose to sell through Melbourne Coin Shop we will ultimately need the following information before any payment changes hands: your full name, residential address, contact email address, contact telephone number and proof of identity. A scan of your Driver’s License or similar is preferred.

Outright Purchase and or Consignment.
