1976 $2 Knight Wheeler R86b OCRB. The first Two Dollar notes used the Gothic Serial number system. Midway through the Knight Wheeler issue the numbering of the notes was changed to a different font style called OCR-B. OCR being an abbreviation of Optical Character Recognition. This new thicker font made it easier for the serial numbers to be recognized by machines, primarily used in the banking and finance industries.
