The 2008 $1 1921 Kookaburra Penny Silver Proof Coin was produced by the Royal Australian Mint and incorporates a re-creation of a 1921 Type 12 Kookaburra Square Penny prototype on a 99.9% silver proof coin. The coin was produced on demand with a final mintage of only 6592 struck.
