2006 $1 Antique Finish Silver Coin

The 2006 $1 Antique Finish Silver Coin was produced by the Royal Australian Mint and commemorates Australia’s early currency, more specifically the Pillar Dollar. The 1758 Pillar Dollar coin is credited with inspiring the dollar sign, which from a currency perspective, is now used in various guises throughout many parts of the world.
