This 2005 $1 ANZAC 90th Anniversary 2-coin set is presented in a replica of the original design of Princess Mary’s gift box to Australian and New Zealand forces in 1915. The gift box originally contained a greeting card from the Princess, a small pencil and some cigarettes. King George V’s daughter and was directly involved in raising funds for the construction and distribution of these gift boxes.
