1990 Proof Set

The 1990 Proof Set was produced by the Royal Australian Mint and comprises of eight coins struck to Proof quality. The set pays tribute to the Australian Aboriginal people with seven of the eight coin designs featuring animals that are often depicted on Aboriginal art. The eighth coin, the 1990 $2 coin, displays a portrait of Australia’s earliest human inhabitant, the Aboriginal.
