The 2013 Mint Set was produced by the Royal Australian Mint and comprises of six coins struck to Uncirculated condition. For a second consecutive year a ‘special edition’ uncirculated set was produced with the inclusion of a coloured coin struck with hyper-metallic printing technology, in this instance, the 20c piece. For collectors, the continuation of the use of this technology was both encouraging and exciting.
