Is shipping insured?
Answer: Yes. All purchases are fully insured while in transit until you sign for the parcel. There are no extra costs for transit insurance, and a tracking number is provided for every order.

Can you purchase my coins or banknotes outright?
Answer: Subject to sighting, we will put a value on what you have and offer you a GST inclusive buy price on the spot. Monies are generally exchanged on receipt of goods.
Please be aware that any preliminary valuation is subject to change where applicable upon final inspection of your items.
Can I sell my items on consignment?
Answer: Yes. We will endeavour to sell your coins or banknotes over an agreed period of time at a mutually agreed retail price. Our commissions are deducted from the final sale price of each item or group of items.
Are preliminary valuations free?
Answer: Yes. All valuations carried out by Melbourne Coin Shop are FREE of charge. We will do our utmost to provide a preliminary valuation at the initial contact stage.
