Australia’s first triangular coin was minted to mark the 25th anniversary of Australian Parliament House. The $5 coin was produced by the Royal Australian Mint. Struck to proof quality the coin is 99.9% silver and depicts Australia’s Parliament House as viewed from one of its courtyards. The world-renowned triangular flag mast is the focal point of the design. Just 10,000 of the coins were minted.
